Weather Forecast

A clear 7-day forecast, day and night, for your current location or a major US city. Forecasts come straight from the US National Weather Service.

Choose a city or use your location to see the forecast.

Reading the forecast

Each day is split into a daytime and a night-time period. The daytime temperature is the expected high and the night-time temperature the expected low, in degrees Fahrenheit.

The chance of precipitation is the probability that at least 0.01 inch of rain or melted snow falls at any given point in the forecast area during that period. A 40% chance does not mean it will rain for 40% of the day; it means that on days with this forecast, measurable rain falls at a given spot about four times in ten.

Where the data comes from

Forecasts are provided by the National Weather Service (NWS), part of the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). NWS forecasts are produced by meteorologists at local forecast offices and cover the United States and its territories, so locations outside the US are not available here.

Your location is only used in your browser to request the forecast for those coordinates; it is not stored by this site.
